The Diplomat rollerball Aero Volute offers an aluminum case with a unique marbling. This is applied to each writing instrument by a water transfer method. The rollerball is delivered with a refill in font color black. The cap is decorated with a metal clip and it is equipped with the exclusive "soft sliding click" locking system.

The Volute series is limited to 1000 writing instruments

Kaweco BRASS Sport rollerball

The impressive heavyweight of the Sport series, the BRASS Sport, is turned from first-class brass. The rollerball is one of the heaviest Kaweco pens. The barrel is manufactured in a complex process to create this stunning piece of German engineering. For the Kaweco Rollerball there are the matching G2 Rollerball pen refills here in the shop. In the beginning of the industrial age pens were made of hard rubber. Ebonite, as it was also called, was only polished. Even brass was already used for pen parts. But it was more for the trimmings such as clip and decorative rings. Only the cartridge technology made it possible to reflect on other materials since the ink does not directly and permanently come into contact with the metals. So in daily use the brass can develop its natural patina. Around 1550 brass was “cast” in a targeted way for the first time and thus offered a variety of applications.
