The SKYLINE is definitely out of the Sport family and has the distinctive, octagonal 8 faces shape, which is typical for Kaweco writing instruments. The basic design of the sport line goes back to 1935. Until today the SKYLINE Sport has the traditional short barrel for the Kaweco Sport ballpen and pencil.

Kaweco SPECIAL ballpen

The SPECIAL is made by Kaweco in an octagonal aluminum profile. This is sleekly in ones hand and combines technique with classic design. For the Kaweco ballpen fit the G2 Spare refills which you can get here in our shop. Today's SPECIAL is a further development of the office pencils from the 30's. The most important characteristics are a simple and artless octagonal design with a handy push button. Long and thin, made of ebonite and later turned of celluloid, the SPECIAL series established as a long-lasting working tool at a reasonable price. Soon the product series expanded through fountain pens cause of the big success. Today we purposely use the modern aluminium and robust, reliable mechanisms which have been sold already a million times.

The Kaweco AL Sport is a really tough pen. Traditional design was consequently combined with modern materials. The Kaweco AL Sport is being produced of massive aluminum using CNC machines. Each item is finally being polished and refined with different surfaces. Despite of aluminum it has a solid weight and sympathetic surface feeling. The requirements on the AL Sport are high. Small, however big enough for comfortable writing. Robust but not too heavy. By modern CNC technique and the use of high-quality aluminum today it is possible to realise the AL Sport. Already in 1905 Kaweco manufactured the first writing instruments made of metal.
