The Waldmann pencil Solon stands for cosmopolitan design and is available in the lead thicknesses of 0.5 and 0.7 mm. Cap and shaft are made of solid sterling silver. The upper is covered with smooth black cowhide leather. The cap is equipped with a massive, externally suspended clip, the guilloche lines and the continuous engraving field. For the lead feed provides a twist mechanism. All metal components are rhodium plated. The mechanical pencil has a length of 137 mm, a diameter of 11.6 mm and weighs 37 g.
