The rollerball is delivered with a refill in font color black. The cap is decorated with a metal clip and it is equipped with the exclusive "soft sliding click" locking system.

Pelikan Souverän 800 rollerball black green

The production of the coat is complex, because after a specially developed recipe for Pelikan is made of cotton material in many steps, a striped piece of material that is bent, ground and then cut with a diamond to contour. Then the characteristic double rings are fitted with the utmost precision, resulting in a nearly seamless transition between the materials before the writing instrument is polished to a high gloss. The last step is to mount the slightly springy beak clip with the famous, stylized pelican. The rollerball pen is equipped with a refill in font color black. The fittings are 24 kt. gilded. The rollerball has a closed cap length of 14.1 cm and weighs 25.5 g.

Kaweco BRASS Sport rollerball

The impressive heavyweight of the Sport series, the BRASS Sport, is turned from first-class brass. The rollerball is one of the heaviest Kaweco pens. The barrel is manufactured in a complex process to create this stunning piece of German engineering. For the Kaweco Rollerball there are the matching G2 Rollerball pen refills here in the shop. In the beginning of the industrial age pens were made of hard rubber. Ebonite, as it was also called, was only polished. Even brass was already used for pen parts. But it was more for the trimmings such as clip and decorative rings. Only the cartridge technology made it possible to reflect on other materials since the ink does not directly and permanently come into contact with the metals. So in daily use the brass can develop its natural patina. Around 1550 brass was “cast” in a targeted way for the first time and thus offered a variety of applications.
