Product information "Kaweco SPECIAL ballpen brass"

The Kaweco SPECIAL ballpoint pen brass is made of ECO brass, that means it is lead-free and environmentally friendly produced. It is equipped with a blue 1.0 mm Kaweco ballpen refill in G2 size. The simple design combined with the high-gloss polished brass gives an exciting sight. This will be even more exciting with the time, as the raw brass will oxidize when used and a beautiful patina will appear. The ballpoint pen of the Kaweco SPECIAL brass series has the Kaweco typical 8 edges as well as a high-quality laser engraving and the silver-colored logo medal on the push button. As usual from Kaweco the ballpoint pen is equipped with an excellent ballpen mechanic, which can not be broken without raw violence .

The Kaweco Special Ballpoint Pen Brass can use the Kaweco Ballpoint Pen Mine G2 in black and blue. Different line thicknesses are available.

The Kaweco SPECIAL series, as it is now, was already built about 100 years ago similar as it is today. Even at this time, the attributes of the Kaweco SPECIAL office pencils were a minimalistic and simple, eight-edged profile equipped with a grip push cap. The Kaweco SPECIAL was made from hard rubber and some years later from celluloid. Nowadays the SPECIAL pencils are available in 4 different line thicknesses, which allows a choice between 0.5mm 0.7mm 0.9mm and 2.0 mm leads. Excellent suitable for all types of drawings. Whether technically drawing, creative sketching or just writing, the Kaweco SPECIAL printing pencil has convinced us at mostwanted-pens. In addition to this range, there is also the fountain pen with a big variety of different nibs available.

The brass metal is now used as a design element and robust, reliable mechanisms are installed. All Kaweco Brass SPECIAL writing systems will get a patina because the metal will oxidize. Kaweco wants the SPECIAL brass to oxidize and it is therefore not a defect.

The Clip for the SPECIAL series of Kaweco not only increases the functionality but leaves the Kaweco Sport pens also a bit more elegant. The Clip is for all pens of the Kaweco SPECIAL and SPECIAL S series. Also this is the only clip that fits to the Kaweco pen sleeve Grip for apple pencil. In the history of Kaweco the SPECIAL series appeared in 1930 repeatedly. Not all writing instruments of the SPECIAL Series which were then produceced, were without clip. For sliding, however, no one was there, because at that time the writing insturments were partly still manufactured individually and therfore the clip could be parmantentyl installed, on customer request.
