The original Sport model of 1935, which serves as a template for all of today's sports models, had like today's models also no clip. The clip has only existed since about 1998 as a "slide-on clip" as an extra accessory to it.

There are only a few writing instruments which have been successful in the market for decades without big changes. One of them is the Kaweco CLASSIC Sport. It follows the design of the year 1935. Outstanding because of its unique form and size. The Kaweco CLASSIC Sport is now available in the color Navy. The new look is reminiscent of the conventional navy uniforms, a timeless classic, just like the entire series. The series is available as fountain pen, mechanical pencil, push pencil, ballpen and roller ball. For the Kaweco Rollerball there are the matching G2 Rollerball pen refills here in our shop. In 1911 something special occurred with the Kaweco Sport. A pocket fountain pen which everyone could carry anywhere. Sepp Herberger already appreciated these characteristics. It was with a Kaweco Sport that the former coach of the German national soccer team wrote on a piece of paper his winning tactics which brought the Germans to the world cup in 1954.

The Kaweco AC ball pen in colour black is an absolute must-have for lovers of detail: The two materials, aluminium and carbon, are both in low-key colours, making the differences in the materials visible. To match the pocket fountain pen, we offer a ballpoint pen made from aluminium with luxurious carbon inlays. It works with a heart curve mechanism, which is particularly precise and does not click when the button is pushed. Its length is only 10.5 cm. It is equipped with a blue, 1.0 mm thick D1 ballpoint pen refill, which glides perfectly over the paper. Our standard refills are available in black and blue, as well as line widths of 0,8mm, 1,0mm and 1,2mm. Besides, we offer a red refill with a 1.2mm line width. Also, suitable for the ball pen, Kaweco offers clips in silver, gold, bronze and black. The modern sports car construction inspired the Kaweco AC Sport. The materials aluminium and carbon are no longer just decorative elements. They influence many aspects of the dynamics and efficiency of a vehicle. When it comes to writing instruments, these aspects are also applicable: The refined, matt surface of the aluminium in vibrant colours is harmonious with the woven carbon fibre in a dark shade of grey. The materials enhance the design and the writing comfort by the pen’s surface feel and weight. It has been possible to build up energetic emotions in this writing device. Please get to know the first Kaweco in “light-weight construction”: the AC Sport! The AC Sport series offers three different writing systems: mechanical pencil, fountain pen and ball pen. You can choose between five different nib sizes, from extra fine to extra broad for the fountain pen. While the extra fine nib (EF) is suitable for small and delicate handwritings, the extra broad (BB) nib is often used for large, dramatic signatures. For beginners, we recommend the nib size medium (M). All nibs are produced in Germany.

The Clip for the SPECIAL series of Kaweco not only increases the functionality but leaves the Kaweco Sport pens also a bit more elegant. The Clip is for all pens of the Kaweco SPECIAL and SPECIAL S series. Also this is the only clip that fits to the Kaweco pen sleeve Grip for apple pencil. In the history of Kaweco the SPECIAL series appeared in 1930 repeatedly. Not all writing instruments of the SPECIAL Series which were then produceced, were without clip. For sliding, however, no one was there, because at that time the writing insturments were partly still manufactured individually and therfore the clip could be parmantentyl installed, on customer request.
