The Kaweco AL Sport is a really tough pen. Traditional design was consequently combined with modern materials. The Kaweco AL Sport is being produced of massive aluminium using CNC machines. Each item is finally being polished and refined with different surfaces. Despite of aluminium it has a solid weight and sympathetic surface feeling. The requirements on the AL Sport are high. Small, however big enough for comfortable writing. Robust but not too heavy. By modern CNC technique and the use of high-quality aluminium today it is possible to realise the AL Sport. For the Kaweco mechanical pencil there are the matching 0.7 mm leads here in our shop. Already in 1905 Kaweco manufactured the first writing instruments made of metal. Which was produced with silver or gold plated brass in the past, is today manufactured from the lighter aluminium material.
