Product information "Kaweco STEEL Sport push pencil 0.7mm"

The Kaweco STEEL sport push pencil is made of brushed stainless steel. With the Kaweco CNC technology the body is milled from a complete steel block. The feel of the steel is soft and the brushed stainless steel makes the writing instrument look visually powerful. The pencil is equipped with a 0.7 mm push mechanism.

We recommend to use the 0.7mm Kaweco pencil leads.

As a case can be considered ECO Sport pouches or the Sport flap pouches, as well as the DENIM case and the CLASSIC pouch can be found under Kaweco pouches.

The first sport models in 1911 were still round but the basic idea was the same. A writing instrument, which can be carried around in the bag without having to run out. So the first Kaweco sport was designed in pocket format.

The Kaweco STEEL Sport Fountain Pen is made of brushed stainless steel. With the Kaweco CNC technology the body is milled from a complete steel block. The fountain pen is very resistant, when closed, due to the robust material. The feel of the steel is very pleasant and the brushed stainless steel makes the fountain pen also visually powerful. The fountain pen is normally equipped with the Kaweco steel nib. Alternatively, a rhodium-plated 14 carat gold nib and a Bi-Color 14 carat gold nib in 5 line thickness sizes are available. Each variation matches the laser engraving and the silver-colored logo on the cap. We recommend the Kaweco ink cartridges, available in eight different colors. The SKYLINE is definitely out of the Sport family and has the distinctive, octagonal 8 faces shape, which is typical for Kaweco writing instruments. The basic design of the sport line goes back to 1935. Until today the SKYLINE Sport has the traditional short barrel for the Kaweco Sport ballpen and pencil.

Kaweco BRASS Sport push pencil 0.7 mm

The impressive heavyweight of the Sport series, the BRASS Sport, is turned from first-class brass. The mechanical pencil is one of the heaviest Kaweco pens. The barrel is manufactured in a complex process to create this stunning piece of German engineering. For the Kaweco mechanical pencil there are the matching 0.7 mm leads here in the shop. In the beginning of the industrial age pens were made of hard rubber. Ebonite, as it was also called, was only polished. Even brass was already used for pen parts. But it was more for the trimmings such as clip and decorative rings. Only the cartridge technology made it possible to reflect on other materials since the ink does not directly and permanently come into contact with the metals. So in daily use the brass can develop its natural patina. Around 1550 brass was “cast” in a targeted way for the first time and thus offered a variety of applications.
