This Pelikan ballpoint pen has a housing made of diamond-finished precious resin. The fittings are high-quality palladium-plated. The pen is equipped with an exchangeable refill in font color black. For the lead feed provides a pressure mechanism. The preparation of the coat is complex, because after a specially developed formula for Pelikan is made of cotton material in many steps, a striped piece of material that is bent, ground and then cut with a diamond to contour. Then the characteristic double rings are fitted with the utmost precision, creating a virtually seamless transition between the materials before the writing instrument is polished to a high gloss.
